Jeff Faw
Jeff Faw has accepted the position of Executive Director of the Tuomey Foundation. Jeff is a 1984 graduate of High Point (NC) University with a business degree in Economics and Marketing. Before joining Tuomey over 2 years ago as Director of Business Development, Jeff spent 25 years in marketing and senior management positions in various industries; most recently as President of Sumter Cabinet Company. Jeff is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
He and his wife Jeanne have resided in Sumter for 15 years with their 3 children, Jared, Spencer, and Larsen. Jeff serves on the Board of Trustees for both Trinity United Methodist Church and the Sumter Family YMCA. Jeff is a member of the Sumter Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club, SC Medical Group Managers Association, Shaw Honorary Wing Commander Program, and a graduate of Leadership Sumter Class XXI.
Vicki M. Singleton
Vicki Singleton is the Annual Fund Director. A North Florida native, Vicki graduated from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville with Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Marketing and Business Management. Prior to joining Tuomey, Vicki was the bookkeeper for Trinity Day School, and an admissions counselor at Southern Wesleyan University.
Vicki is a member of First Baptist Church Sumter, The Kiwanis Club of Sumter, The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Central Carolina Chapter, The Sumter Junior Welfare League, and is a Girl Scout Troop Leader and Greater Sumter Chamber of Commerce Ambassador. She is married to Chris Singleton, and has two children, Katherine Grace and Victoria.
Laura Haygood
Laura Haygood is the Donor Relations Coordinator for The Tuomey Foundation. As an Air Force officer's daughter, Laura graduated from Hillcrest High School and attended the University of South Carolina. She lived in Texas for 13 years, where she worked for the Texas Rehabilitation Commission. Laura served as a legal assistant for tax and corporate attorneys in Columbia before joining Tuomey Healthcare System in 1996, where she was the administrative assistant for several members of Tuomey's senior management staff. She joined the staff of The Tuomey Foundation in 2000. Laura is a member of First Church of God.
Laura has two children, Calvin and Mallory.
Catherine "Cathy" Brooks
Cathy Brooks serves as the Grant Coordinator for The Tuomey Foundation. Born into a military family, she has called many places home, but has resided in Sumter for the last 18 years. A graduate of Sumter High School, she earned an associate degree from the University of South Carolina, where she is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree. Prior to joining Tuomey, Cathy worked at Shaw Air Force Base for more than 7 years in various areas throughout the 20th Services Squadron, 20th Mission Support Squadron, and as the 20th Fighter Wing Base Awards and Decorations Monitor serving over 6,000 service men and women.
Cathy has been involved with and volunteered for organizations like Toys for Tots, Relay for Life, American Heart Association and the March of Dimes.
